Service Description

9 hours (6 weeks of class) 4.5 hours of basic workshops with 4.5 hours of advanced and on-location workshops. Basics of runway modeling class 1. Learn to walk the runway in several ways 2. In depth look at turns and style 3. Have a model spot in one or more of the annual Kapa Mag productions, fundraisers, affiliated productions and the Kapa Mag Hard Copy 2023 Group Course Runway Basics, "the Marionette" In "the Marionette" class talent learns to control body parts in order to best showcase and display what is needed when walking runway (From head to toe, a talent will know how to stand, walk, do a basic turn including posing). Runway Basics, "Turns and personal style" In the second runway class, talent will lean into their runway walk, learning multiple turns with coaches helping with arms, hands, facial expressions and posture to begin developing the talent's personal runway walk style Runway Basics, Runway Walks Talent learn several types of runway styles: TM Kapa Mag Modeling Walks Runway Basics, Group Choreo During this class, talent brings all skills learned to create custom choreography; students learn group choreo Runway Advanced, Ali'i Nui Kapa Mag Talent choreo Runway Advanced, Ali'i Nui Kapa Mag Talent choreo Class runway production: choreographed drills are recorded for runway reels.   2. Creating ongoing platforms for youth like HoTR and emerging creatives — especially in HawaiÊ»i’s fashion and arts communities — to explore ideas, collaborate with peers and professionals, and showcase their work.

  3. Offering accessible business support services — including branding, planning, and creative consulting — tailored to the needs of HawaiÊ»i-based entrepreneurs, start-ups, and nonprofits.
