Updated: Oct 6

Mahalo nui loa to everyone who joined us for the 7th Annual WE Peace Day Fashion Festival at Kapiʻolani Bandstand.

To our designers, talent, musicians, dancers, photographers, vendors, production team, volunteers, families, friends, and guests: thank you for bringing your time, creativity, energy, and presence to the day.

WE continues to remind us that community is something we create together. We’ve received so many kind compliments, and we’re grateful to everyone who helped make the day special.

What’s Next for Kapa Magazine Hawaiʻi

As we move into our next season, Kapa Magazine Hawaiʻi will continue connecting our community through fashion, education, creativity, leadership, and service.

Our 2026–27 focus will explore the relationship between personal needs and community values, as we continue to develop Kapa Magazine Hawaii and its programs including; Koʻu ʻOihana Ponoʻi, our values-based educational program, Mālama Moments and Hawai’i on the Runway.

Halloween

We’re currently organizing a Halloween show in discussion with two community entities. We’ll share more if it is a go and as soon as details are confirmed.

Holiday Mālama Moments (December 22 and 23)

We’re looking forward to celebrating the holidays with Mālama Moments and a fashion show at Windward Mall on December 22, followed by visits to various care homes on December 23. More details will be shared as plans come together.

HMT Mx: January through May 2027

We’re welcoming the new year with HMT Mx industry classes from January through May. Signed talent will work on headshots, prepare for film opportunities, and continue building the materials and skills needed for their next steps.

Thank you for being part of Kapa Magazine Hawaiʻi. Keep in touch with us through our socials, and reach out if you’d like to collaborate, share an idea, or learn more about what we offer.

We look forward to seeing you in the season ahead and for the 8th annual WE Peace Day Fashion Festival in 2027.
