While there are many things to express our thanks for this year, Kapa Mag is thankful for you!
Without your support we wouldn’t be where we are, producing two hard copy magazines a year, along with our creative productions and educational classes. Because of you, we have made an impact in our community - and it’s only just begun.
As #GivingTuesday approaches, your support in giving does not go unnoticed!

As we look forward to these impactful days ahead, Kapa Mag gives special notice to a great impact that has been made in the Hawaiian community. The First Native Hawaiian to represent Nike’s N7 Collection, Kānaka ʻōiwi, Piʻikea Lopes holds the place of 2022 Miss Aloha Hula, sharing hula as a sport, and paving the way within the community. Not only accomplishing this huge recognition in Nike and hula, Kānaka ʻōiwi, Piʻikea Lopes studied ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi at UH and teaches the Hawaiian language in school.
Talk about an incredible influence for Hawaii! We highlight news such as this as we are in the business of helping our talent reach similar goals. Read the KHON 2 News story here.
Kapa Mag give thanks to all of the change makers and supporters throughout the community.
Happy Thanksgiving!
